Blog namesake

Here is the reason for the title of my blog. This is the guy that is sitting outside our front door every morning and every afternoon.

This was taken in the garden bed about two metres from the front door.

The creek in the title is currently roaring thanks to all the rain in the last two days. I should get a pic and post that too.

Habby Swap goodies for me.

Thanks to Kerry for my lovely habby pack I opened today.

There's ricrac, lace, broderie trim, blanket binding, funky orange bias, elastic, shirring elastic, pins, zips, press studs and the little pack at the top right are some ribbonand press stud bra-strap holders to sew into tops. I've got one or two dresses that could really use these.

Wrapped and posted!

Here is a pic of the parcel of habby goodies I've sent to my EB swap partner, Susan. A valentine card because opening day is valentine's day.

And here is what is in it. I got a bit carried away and had to use the weight limit on the postage satchel to narrow it down a bit. I used the old 'one for you and one for me' technique so all the new items in the pack have an identical partner now residing in my stash! I also raided my stash for a few things. I hope my partner likes it - I had fun putting it together.
